At the time of writing it is 27 minutes past midnight on Friday 5th June 2015. This afternoon, seventy years ago to the day, my Uncle, Flight Sergeant Paul Cochrane Wyatt, lost his life over France. While hostilities may have ceased in Europe on the 8th May, aircraft and lives continued to be lost after that through air accident and ground incident as had been the case throughout the war.

This site is primarily dedicated to my Uncle and his crewmates. Yet it is impossible not to also include in that dedication the tens upon tens of thousands of lives lost in Bomber Command.
